Erika loves her new bed. Our home is mostly modern but we've decided to make her room French frilly chic. We're going for that obnoxious mix of modern and baroque found in 70s Hollywood homes. The room is pink with a white chandelier and the Olivia furniture set from Pottery Barn for Kids. We planned to buy the Olivia set for months. Suddenly the set went on sale but we pulled the trigger a day to late. The entire stock was sold out nationwide with no plans to offer it again. Our pleas to purchase the display set fell on deaf ears. We searched for a replacement without success. But Heather does not give up that easy. She called Pottery Barn again and they remembered her immediately. In fact, they had contacted corporate headquarters who agreed to sell her the bed, but they had failed to take her contact information. By luck, she called before they gave the bed to another buyer. She found a second display model Juliet at the Manhattan Beach store. The sale price less the discount, less the display discount, less shipping added up to huge savings.
